Liddy's secures £100,000 settlement for client

Kevin Liddy, a partner at Liddy's Solicitors, Wakefield has successfully secured a settlement of £100,000 for an injured machine operator in an accident at work claim. The client sustained serious injuries to his hand which limited his future work options.
Liddy's successfully secured an early admission of liability and, after arranging a bespoke team of rehabilitation experts to help the client adjust to his injuries, negotiated a settlement that allowed the client to secure his family's future.
After having secured the settlement, Liddy's arranged for the funds to be placed in a special trust fund that allowed the settlement to be disregarded by the Department for Works & Pensions when assessing his income and incapacity benefits entitlement, thus safeguarding the client's settlement.
