Slip and Fall Injury in the Supermarket Due to Wet Floor: Maximising Your Compensation for Supermarket Accidents

Published: 13th June 2024

I acted for a client who was shopping at the supermarket. An employee started to mop the floor right next to our client. Our client stood back and slipped, injuring her wrist and face.

A claim was made against the supermarket, who initially denied liability. Court proceedings were issued and served. The defendants filed a defence disputing liability but also made an offer to settle for £10,000 which was accepted by our client.
