When knee replacements go wrong

Published: 12th March 2018

If you have lived an active life, quite often knees or hips wear out as you get into your fifties or sixties.

Replacing the worn out joint with artificial replacements is a very common operation now and in about 95% of cases, is successful. The ones that aren’t successful tend to be due to unavoidable complications. Sometimes though the reason that they fail is because of poor surgical technique.
