Patient accidentally injected with adrenaline into her vein received £125,000

We acted for a patient at Pinderfields Hospital who during her operation was accidentally injected with adrenaline into her vein, causing her to go into cardiac arrest.

In order to resuscitate her, the hospital gave her a different injection, which caused tissue damage to her left forearm. She had to have 6 further operations to repair the damage and was left with a badly scarred arm.

The Defendants denied responsibility, and Court proceedings were issued but the claim settled for £125,000.00 in damages.
