Poor care received at care home – Family awarded £47,000

We acted for the widow of a patient of a care home.

The patient stayed at the care home for some weeks to provide respite care. He was incontinent. The care home failed to adequately wash and change him such that he suffered bedsores. As a result of that, he was bedbound and contracted pneumonia.

The case was settled for £47,500.00.
