Birth Injury Claims

Birth injuries cover a range of different issues that can occur during childbirth. They refer to conditions suffered by a child that may have been caused during labour, as well as injuries to the mother which may have been due to the labour not being managed correctly.

Gynaecological injuries usually arise from complications linked to surgery. Injuries that can occur include conditions such as incontinence after surgery, failed sterilisation, injury to the bowel, bladder or uterus during a hysterectomy and infections which lead to the loss of childbearing potential.

If you feel that you, or you child, has a condition as a result of medical negligence during either of these events, please get in touch with us to receive confidential advice.
